The American Association of University Professors, UH Chapter Records consists mainly of documents directly related to the organization, including the constitution, minutes, bank statements, letters, correspondence, membership lists, and newsletters.

The Faculty Organizations Records primarily consist of organizational minutes, as well as constitutions, bylaws, and report. Materials are arranged by chronological order. Records include those of the Faculty Association (1954-1963), Faculty Assembly (1951-1959), and Faculty Senate (1969-2005).

Scope and Contents The Dr. Patrick J. Nicholson Papers include correspondence, brochures, reports, and newspaper articles concerning many university-related topics and a small amount of personal material. Some folders contain a variety of materials relating to that particular folder topic. Materials in the collection date from 1933 to 1979, with the majority dating from the mid-1960s to the mid-1970s. The collection primarily contains announcements, scholarly journal articles, newsletters, and newspaper clippings, the majority pertaining to Dr. Stead's academic contributions as well as her efforts to establish FHPW and GHBER. The material has been arranged into 9 series: Miscellaneous, Degree Requirements, Academic Projects, Training/Workshops, Scholarly Works, Honors and Awards, Accomplishments and Recognition, Organization Affiliations, Community Activism.

Scope and Contents The collection arrived at the archives in relatively good order and in general the original order has been maintained. Materials in the collection include departmental records, extensive press clippings, and videos. The collection dates from 1948-1997 with most of the materials dating from 1977 to 1997.
