Historical Note
The UH Council for Cultural Activities was founded in 1972 as the Council of Ethnic Organizations (CEO). In 2017, the organization changed its name to the Council for Cultural Activities (CCA) to expand its programming services. They plan and host events like Cultural Taste of Houston, Cultural Explosion, Cultural Marketplace, and Carnival of Cultures. The CCA also co-sponsors events with other campus organizations.
