Scope and Contents The Battin Collection contains correspondence, articles, lecture notes, scrapbooks, photographs, scripts, and films. The materials date from 1936 to 1976, and comprise eleven manuscript boxes, one newspaper box and six films, five in reel cases. Because so many articles are one paragraph or less, they were placed with others in Mylar sheet protectors for preservation. Scope and Contents This collection consists primarily of Video Workshop Discs from the Jack J. Valenti School of Commmunications. It includes 110 DVDs dated from 1979 to 2007.This collection also includes a DVD entitled "Many Voices, One Message." This disc has been transferred off of the fragile electronic media and is available as a digital surrogate, which can be accessed in the Special Collections Reading Room by advance request.
