Biography
Jeanie Sutton Lambright is the author of the book, "They Also Served: Women's Stories from the World War II Era." She has cultivated a lifelong interest in WW II by working with veterans in the federal government and visiting historical military sites in Europe and Asia. Jeanie was a child of WW II Era, and a graduate from the the University of Texas - Dallas. She is the widow of a decorated P-51 Mustang Fighter Pilot. Prior to writing "They Also Served", she was a part of the "Kate Denton" book team, and published 13 books with the Harlequin Romance Line.

The majority of the collection includes content pertaining to the creation of the Lambright's book entitled, “They also served: Women’s Stories from the WWII Era.” Many materials correspond to the research, interviews, and related materials collected from 53 women interviewed in 2001-2002 who shared their memories of the WW II Era for the book. Other items include audio tapes, photographs, and the published book.
