Scope and Contents From the Collection: Vitae folders are arranged alphabetically, according to the last name of the individual. Each card contains information (education, date of birth, brief employment history, and sometimes a photograph) for people employed by the University of Houston. Some of the folders also contain newspaper clippings associated with that individual. For example, the folders relating to Paul Chu contain numerous newspaper articles associated to his research in the area of superconductor material....

Scope and Contents This collection documents Abbey Simon’s career as a concert pianist but also contains a smaller amount of material related to his role as a professor in the Moore’s School of Music at the University of Houston. Materials in the collection date from the late 1940s through approximately 2013, with a bulk of the materials from the 1960s-1990s. Most of the materials in the collection are programs from throughout Simon's career, but the collection also contains correspondence, contracts, audio...
