Brief Biographical Note
Museum director and art curator Don Bacigalupi was born in New York in 1960. He attended the University of Houston and the University of Texas at Austin. Bacigalupi has held curator and director positions at the San Antonio Museum of Art, the Blaffer Art Museum at the University of Houston, the San Diego Museum of Art, the Toledo Museum of Art, Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, and the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art. In 2019 he established Don Bacigalupi Art Counsel, Inc.
