Brief Biographical Note
Museum director and art curator Deborah Velders has been executive director of the Mobile Museum of Art (2012- ), deputy director of the Asia Society Texas Center in Houston, director and chief curator of the Cameron Art Museum in Wilmington, NC, and head of exhibitions and public programs for the Menil Collection. She holds a Master of Arts degree from the University of Houston.
