Frank Parsley was a Houston-based professional photographer and was one of the 13 local community members who participated in the first meeting that led to the creation of the Gulf Coast Archive and Museum of GLBT History, Inc.

Content Description

The collection mostly contains items that document the creator’s personal life and his work as a photographer. The printed photographs, photo slides, and photo negatives feature images of family, friends and others, landscapes, flowers, animals, local/regional Pride events, and activism. Also in the collection are VHS tapes, protest posters, a t-shirt from the 1989 March on the Capitol, buttons, books, American Gay Atheist newsletters, erotica, pornography, and medical records.
