Reiss, Governor, Jr., 2006

File — Reading Room Computer: 1, File: SKR-DR-SR04
Dates: 2006
Summary

Govenor Reiss Jr. made a request to add to his previous interview. This interview in my [interviewer Nonice M. REiss] opinion, is a narrative and I thought it best that the transcription of it in its entirety was most effective. Although Mr. Reiss spoke clearly and in a relaxed manner it was clear that this was a deeply moving emotional expression. He spoke primarily about his delayed reaction to the disaster of hurricane Katrina.

Williams, Lori, 2006

File — Reading Room Computer: 1, File: SKR-DR-SR02

Summary

Lori Williams evacuated to her sister's home here in Houston. She lived on the Westbank in Terrytown, Louisiana. Her and her family have decided to make Houston home and has already purchased a home here in the Katy area. Lori has concerns about the generalization concerning the criminal characterization of the New Orleans area citizens.
