Frost, Robert Sherar

Biography

Robert Sherar Frost was born on August 9, 1939, in Houston, Texas, to Vernon Ward Frost and Frances Inza Sherar Frost. He graduated from St. John's School in Houston in 1957 and Southern Methodist University in 1961. He spent several months traveling around Europe between grade school and college, and spent his early adulthood as an actor in various plays in Texas and California. Later in life he became a rancher and a real estate broker, specializing in ranches.

Mr. Frost comes from a long line of Texans dating back to 1822 with a Mexican land grant of over 4,000 acres near LaPorte. His ancestors moved to Fort Bend County due to its rich farm land.
