Keeland and his friends often exchanged large greeting cards and announcements collaged from newspaper and magazine images. This group is composed of oversized cards received by Keeland on birthdays and other occasions. Many are from Bill Shields, an artist who was Keeland’s high-school classmate. Shields was one of Keeland’s early clients before he moved to San Francisco. Also included are a group of color prints of artwork from Shields from the late 1990s.
