Funded by National Educational Television, People Are Taught to be Different was a 12-part series written and produced by Texas Southern University sociology professor Dr. Henry Allen Bullock, and performed by TSU students. This series was an anthropological study on black life based around the “idea that racial discrimination has to be literally taught, that people are not naturally prejudiced.”
