Critical essays about Vassar Miller - Terence Doody, 1985
This collection contains printed materials broadly chronicling the professional and personal relationship between author Bruce Kellner and Houston-based poet Vassar Miller. Materials include correspondence between Kellner and Miller spanning close to thirty years; poems and other creative works by Miller; critical essays about Miller's work; articles and photocopied newspaper clippings; and a typescript of Kellner's play about Miller, "Swimming on Concrete."
Also included is correspondence related to Miller's care in a nursing facility in 1996 as well as materials related to her death in 1998, including the program for her memorial service at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church in Houston.
