Bicentennial Project and Paintings Report, 1976

Report containing details about six paintings created by Houston artist Judith-Ann Saks and commissioned by the Port of Houston Authority for the United States Bicentennial. Originally published in the January 1976 issue of "The Bicentennial Times," the official publication of the American Revolution Bicentennial Administration, Washington, D.C.

The names of the paintings are "The Laura," "As the Rail Meets the Sea," "Dedication of the Houston Ship Channel, 1914," "The Container Revolution," "The Bicentennial Year at the Port of Houston," and "Over the Horizon -- The Year 2001." See Box 1, Folder 2 ("Clippings") for printed reproductions of these paintings.
