Architectural Projects - Drawings

 Series

This series contains Barthelme's architectural drawings. They fall into four categories: Studies and Preliminary Drawings; Working Drawings; Prints; and Maps and Surveys. All are large format and are stored in flat files in oversized folders. Some projects contain examples of more than one category of drawings. Note that in 1955 the name of Sweeny Negro School changed to "Carver Elementary School" and West Columbia Negro School became "Charlie Brown School." The schools appear under both names in Barthelme's files and in this finding aid.
