Granting Process, 1980-2011
The Granting Process Series includes all the documents related to the process of announcing, reviewing, and awarding grants for medical and educational research. In 1980, the Women's Fund began funding research grants. Funding for those early grants was modest, but over 18 years, the Women's Fund approved and funded 147 grant applications. Total expended funds for these dates top $1,000,000. Besides formal medical research, the organization funded several outreach service programs with far reaching effects. This series includes three subseries: Grant Administration, Grant Applications, and Research and Review Committee.
