This series contains photographs relating to rallies and demonstrations in which HWAC participated. Many of the rallies stress awareness toward, and prevention of, violence toward women. Of particular interest are black and white photographs of the late Tejano singer, Selena, participating in a rally on the steps of City Hall in Houston in 1994. This series demonstrates some of the scope and public activities of the organization in organizing or participating in certain demonstrations or rallies.
