These are letters sent to Leon Hale over more than forty years. Most of them are laudatory but a few are critical. Many of them are one-time missives from loyal readers but there are as many as 145 from the most prolific of the correspondents. Some also appear to be from friends or acquaintances. Among them are letters from John Henry Faulk and Louie Welch.
