This series consists of 7 folders pertaining to Dr. Stead's significant involvement in various women's organizations in the Houston area. In particular, because Stead played a vital role in FHPW and GHBER, the folders below also hold drafts of the bylaws she created to establish these organizations. Further, it is interesting to note that the ROBWEC folder contains a 1991 photograph of Stead and Geraldine Ferraro, a former Democratic Vice-Presidential candidate.
