Maps and Aerial Photographs, 1938-1970

 Series

The Maps and Aerial Photographs Series contains both printed maps and aerial photographs used in Lozo's work at Shell. Dating from 1938 to 1970, many maps and photographs contain handwritten notes and diagrams noting the locations of wells, geologic formations, field trip destinations, and proposed paths for pipelines.

Materials in this series are arranged by set, including collections of photographs published by CETENAL, Edgar Tobin Aerial Surveys, Jack Ammann Photogrammetric Engineers, NASA, and the United States Department of Agriculture. Printed Maps, primarily produced by the United States Geological Survey, are located in the Stratigraphic and Geologic Maps Series.
