Materials at the BPA included a large number of books and monographs. To accommodate the BPA office’s structural amenities which include large windows along the hallway, storage was configured to maintain the aesthetics of office architecture. Two-drawer file cabinets line the hall below the windows, interspersed by two full-height cabinets positioned along full-height wall spaces. Archival documents are stored in the large cabinets and references filed separately in the shorter file cabinets. References are catalogued alphabetically by title. To group similar items, item titles were sometimes slightly re-worded so that watershed name or issue would occur first. Oversize items in Drawers 19 and 20 are too large for the record cartons, so are stacked in the order indicated below in drawers 19 and 20. Items noted as “Black Books” are located in drawers 19 and 20 as well. There are a total of 281 references in 20 file drawers.
