A major focus of BPA’s activity in the Houston community is educational outreach. Kids on the Bayou (KOB) is prominent and successful outreach program directed toward local youth. Another successful BPA outreach initiative was the 1999 Buyout Conference. A total of 37 folders in 4 boxes contain the papers of the BPA’s Community Outreach sub-series.
