The Theater Papers series contains performance-related, administrative, financial, and publicity materials for plays, television and radio broadcasts. Because the bulk of the series dates from between the 1970s and the 1990s, only a small amount of material from Quintero's early career is present. Generally, the materials in this series document Quintero's role as director and not the contributions of individual members of his company. Performance-related materials have been arranged by production titles and are ordered alphabetically. Materials relating to Quintero's teaching appointments comprise their own sub-series. The Theater Memorabilia series contains materials not directly associated with Quintero's work: Sub-series are comprised of Theater programs, clippings and publications collected by Quintero, as well as miscellaneous materials relating to Eugene O'Neill.
