This sub-series consists of nearly 25,000 files from a hard drive belonging to Peter Beste. It includes thousands of documentary photographs, various versions of the book Houston Rap, promotional materials, scans and photos of ephemera collected from Houston hip hop artists, and video and audio files. All of the materials in this sub-series are found within a top-level folder on the hard drive entitled "HOUSTON." The sub-sub-series represent the second-level folders in the hierarchy, and the folders within each represent the third-level folders in the hierarchy. Sub-sub-series and folder titles are taken directly from the hard drive. Digital archival materials can be accessed in the Special Collections Reading Room by advance request.
