Central to the mission of CEC is the facilitation of networking among member organizations. Hence, the Member Organizations series provides insight into the breadth of member organizations and their issues and activities. Environmental organizations are fragile entities that do not always succeed or sometimes morph into different organizations. CEC's records provide evidence of continuing memberships and past members. The CEC office records included organizations dating primarily from 1980s and 1990s. Earlier member organizations can be found in the Hershey and Emmott accessions. Member organizations are organized alphabetically and include 2 boxes with a total of 7 folders.
