This series includes records and correspondence related to the initial fundraising activities of the libraries and is divided into four three subseries: Friends of the Libraries (FOL), Gifts and Donors, Administrative Records, and Development. These materials date between 1940 and 2000 with the majority being from the 1970s and 1980s. The Friends of the Libraries files are organized chronologically then alphabetically where necessary. The Gifts and Donors, Administrative Records, and Development are arranged alphabetically. Materials include records, information regarding specific events held by the University Libraries, annual fund, reports, executive committees, and FOL history.
