This series dates from 1958 through 1969, with one folder from 1976. It is the largest and the strongest series within this collection. It consists of letters from Nicholson to a variety of people including donors, potential donors, and well-known associates of the university among others. The folders in this series cover a wide range of university-related topics. Due to Nicholson's job responsibilities as Vice President of University Development, fundraising receives a strong emphasis within the correspondence series. Materials are arranged chronologically.
