“Teens Need Teens” - A Manual for Adults Helping Teens to Stop Violence - Oakland Men’s Project, 1990

 File — Box: 18, Folder: 33
From the Series:

This series contains 62 folders dating from 1987-2000. It includes a Sub-Series of Manuals from other organizations that may have served as models for developing the Houston Area Women’s Center manuals. The classification of the Training Sub-Series is based on training programs developed mostly for professional organizations in the areas of family violence, sexual harassment and abuse, and media training. These were formal presentations and workshops, which may have included a fee for service, and professional accreditation. The files are organized according to the target audience and then the specific program. The Media Training Sub-Series includes Manuals, Workshops, and Evaluations. Through this initiative the Center was able to develop a media resource guide for the Houston area, the “Red Book”: Guide to Female News Sources for Houston Area Media, which is also found in this series.
