This sub-series contains the material from a family violence seminar given by the Houston Young Lawyers Association and HAWC at South Texas College of Law on April 17, 1986. It contains information pertaining to the legislative actions of the 68th Texas legislature, the Harris County District Attorney’s Family Criminal Law Division Domestic Violence Unit, reports on law enforcement and cases, as well as a description of Houston area resources. In addition, it contains details regarding the preparation and presentation of protective orders.
