This series is the largest in the collection containing forty-nine boxes of general working files that are presumed to be the President’s office files. Materials date from 1927 to 1980, with the bulk of the materials dating between 1960 and 1978. The files cover almost every aspect of the University including student groups, commencement, committees, accreditation, the different colleges, national education related organizations and associations, and the other campuses within the University of Houston System. Files in this series have been arranged alphabetically and then chronologically when necessary.
