This series contains files related to the members of the 2nd Battalion, 131st Field Artillery. Subseries 2-8 contain material about the individuals who became prisoners of war. About half of these contain only brief biographical information and/or a photocopy of the crew member's POW camp record. About half contain handwritten transcripts of interviews Milner conducted with the men (indicated by the words "with interview"), and some of these include typewritten transcripts created in Special Collections. The other two subseries contain general information about the battalion and the Lost Battalion Association, a group whose membership includes survivors and their families.
