“Something Else” was a variety program for KUHF-FM Houston and was produced and directed by Otto Lynn Haney who co-hosted the show with Hilke Worthen. The series of weekly programs, which ran from September 1966 to June 1967, featured entertainment spots and talent from Houston-area colleges and universities. The collection consists of 30 ¼” open reel tapes; some are recordings of the program while others contain recorded music. The collection also includes biographical information on Haney and and pictures of Haney and Worthen.

The tapes from the “Something Else” program are donated to the University of Houston by Haney’s sister Dianne Terry and nephew Kevin Terry, in loving memory of Otto Lynn Haney and his co-host Hilke Worthen.
