Summary: Charlotte Dorand [CD] is a Katrina survivor from New Orleans, Louisiana [NOLA]. Ms. Dorand is NOLA native. She is a divorced mother of two grown children. Although one child lives in Louisiana, neither child lives in New Orleans. MS. Dorand is a self-employed professional. Charlotte’s story is one of desperation and rescue, of trips back to NOLA, of relocation in Houston, and a fear that NOLA will never be the same.
