Sardie, Jacqueline, 2006
Summary: Jackie Sardie [JS] is a Katrina survivor from New Orleans, Louisiana [NOLA]. Ms. Sardie is NOLA native. She is a widowed mother of two grown children. Although one child lives in Louisiana, neither child lives in New Orleans. Ms. Sardie is a self-employed professional. Jackie’s story is one of desperation and rescue, of trips back to NOLA, of relocation in Houston, and a fear that NOLA will never be the same.
