Her hardwood floors were buckled, her furniture was mildewed, the water marked a line on the walls and the entire inside of her home was mildewed. She tried to save some items but the smell of the home was so harsh she could stay long. Her neighborhood was a mess and she referred to the area as if a helicopter dropped white powder all over her neighborhood. All the trees were brown and everything else was white powder was all over everything. Her nephew returned with her and was very emotional to see the disaster. It was almost four months before returning the first time to [NOLA]. Since the hurricane, AW has never left the city of [NOLA].
