Summary

Lester Harris [LH] age 31, is a Hurricane Katrina Survivor from the Lower Ninth Ward area in New Orleans, LA. LH lived in Florida and North Carolina for a few years of his life but mostly grew up in the Desire projects, Upper Ninth Ward. LH grew up in a pretty bad neighborhood and witnessed a lot of things as a child. He spent 2 years in a youth prison for selling drugs at the age of 14. During Hurricane Katrina LH was in Orleans Parish prison and experienced water neck high and struggled to survive. LH was transported to 3 different prisons and later released to find himself living in Houston still down on his luck. LH has now changed his ways and is playing a part to help rebuild the people of New Orleans.
