Summary

Simeka Craft, [SC], age 20 is a Hurricane Katrina evacuee from New Orleans East, LA. SC lived in the East her entire life in one home. SC Attended Abramson high school and the University of Houston. SC and her family evacuated early from New Orleans to Houston, TX. SC lost everything in the storm but believes that if she could have taken one thing with her it would have been her pictures because without them SC believes that her past has been erased. SC now resides in Houston and is going back and forth trying to get back to New Orleans but the process has been slow.
