Additional Description

Abstract

The following is a catalog of a tape-recorded interview with 66-year-old Helen J. Anthony at her apartment home in Clear Wood Villas in Houston, Texas. The interview focused on her memories of her home and all the personal possessions that she lost and are not able to recover. Interviewee candidly expresses that a lack of notice and support after the hurricane by governmental officials has left the community she lived in for nearly 40 years abandoned and without a plan of restoration. Mrs. Anthony tells of their early evacuation because of a physically handicapped spouse.
