Summary

Terrence Veal [TV] age 24, is a Katrina survivor from New Orleans, LA [NOLA]. This interview begins with some details from his early life and moves on to describe where he was working and living prior to the Hurricane. Then, after describing working at Southern Tire Mart and Hope Haven he moves on to describe how he was at work when he first heard there was a mandatory evacuation to leave New Orleans for the Hurricane. He explains the train of events that took place in order for him to evacuate his family to Atlanta, Georgia, and the journey they endured to get to Houston, Texas where they are now currently residing.
