Summary
Denise Robinson [DR], age 42, is a native of New Orleans who was living in Mid-city before Katrina caused her to relocate to Houston. She is a wife, mother of two and had returned to NO one year before Katrina struck. DR evacuated before the storm to Pineville, Louisiana and stayed in a Red Cross shelter due to no hotel vacancies. DR and her family drove to Atlanta, GA after finding out they could not return to NO and eventually left for Houston. DR made Houston her home and purchased a Habitat for Humanity home.
