Summary

Domonique Tousaint [DT], age 16, is a Katrina survivor from New Orleans, Louisiana. Her interview begins with some concrete details, such as the schools she attended while in New Orleans [NO]. She also provides her age and classification in school. She tells the story of her stay in the Superdome for seven days, and experiences there as well as, her travels to other states after the storm. She then speaks of her time in Houston afterwards and she describes the camaraderie between her and the Houston and New Orleans’ students.
