Summary
Dilcia Lino is a Katrina survivor from New Orleans; she was born in Tegucigalpa, Honduras and lived in New Orleans for the past year. Her interview begins with some details about her Garifuna culture and goes on to describe what their beliefs and culture is base on. Then, she tells us about her experience when hurricane Katrina strikes and how she along with her husband found their way to escape. Finally, she says that she’s not thinking about going back to N.O. since it was a nightmare to her.
