Red Adair Company Records, 1947-2011

The Red Adair Company Records contain files on numerous jobs that Adair and his employees completed worldwide; administrative and financial materials documenting the company's operations; publicity and press materials; files on individuals accused of attempting to defraud Adair and the company; and audiovisual and photographic media that further chronicle the company's activities from its founding to its sale to Global Industries, Ltd. in 1993. These records also contain materials documenting the Red Adair Service and Marine Company, a separate company that Adair founded in 1972 to sell firefighting equipment, and materials regarding various marine vessels that he designed or collaborated on.
