An oversized scrapbook of clippings, newsletters, photographs, and other printed materials about Pecan Acres Ranch, located in Simonton, Texas; the oil and cattle industries in the Greater Houston area; the Houston Farm & Ranch Club; and the Houston Fat Stock Show (now the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo).

The scrapbook was compiled by Vernon W. Frost, Sr., who purchased Pecan Acres in 1946 to herd and sell Brahman cattle, and also served as president of the Houston Farm & Ranch Club.
