Houston Heights is situated northwest of downtown Houston, Texas. This Collection contains records from the Houston Abstract Company, the Houston Title Guaranty Company, the Stewart Title Company, and the Southern Abstract and Title Company. This collection consists of 10 abstracts of title and deed for the property in the Heights district, in the city of Houston and Harris County, filed from 1896 to 1941.

The Houston Leasing Brochure Collection contains leasing brochures and advertisements for residential and commercial rental spaces located across the city of Houston. Arranged geographically, the brochures date from 1966 to 2000. The collection documents Houston's built environment, offering unique insight into the advertising and marketing strategies and techniques used by developers to secure tenants for new or renovated spaces throughout Houston.

Scope and Contents This collection contains event programs, letters, songbooks, newsletters, ledgers, treasury reports, legal case files, and many other materials relating to the activities and administration of the Houston Saengerbund from the years 1874 to 2013. Included is a typed manuscript history of the Port of Houston and Buffalo Bayou, as well as a typed version of the ordinance establishing the Port of Houston in 1841.
