John C. Walker Texas Counties Collection
This collection contains legal documents, advertisements, correspondence, and maps from various Texas counties dating from 1818 to 1907. Deeds and tax receipts make up a signififcant portion of the collection. Counties represented include Angelina, Cherokee, Tyler, Nacogdoches, Brazoria, Fort Bend, Galveston, and Harris. Documents from the Republic of Texas are also included.
