Public Access Computer Systems Forum (PACS-L) Records
This collection consists of eleven boxes of printed e-mail correspondence among members of the Public-Access Computer Systems Forum (PACS-L). The distribution list was established by Charles W. Bailey, Jr., and provided by the University of Houston Libraries. These documents are dated from July 1989 to February 1991, corresponding to Bailey's tenure as moderator. There is also a notebook of handwritten notes, and four compact discs containing PACS-L archives.

The Public Access Computer Systems Forum (PACS-L) was a BITNET mailing list established by Charles W. Bailey, Jr. at the University of Houston Libraries in 1989 and active until 2013. Conversations on the list dealt with end-user computer systems in libraries.
