Biographical / Historical

Daya, Inc. is a non-profit organization founded in 1996 that serves South Asian women, children and men in the Houston area who have been the victims of domestic violence or sexual assault. Daya works to empower survivors of domestic and sexual violence through culturally specific services and by educating the community to end the cycle of abuse. Services include crisis intervention and management, professional counseling, financial assistance, legal advocacy, and housing assistance.
