Biographical Note
Architect and industrial designer George Englesmith was born May 31, 1914 in Liverpool England and died July 27 1998 in Houston, Texas. Englesmith was a Professor of Architecture at the University of Toronto and the University of Houston. He was a project architect for the Manned Spacecraft Center (NASA) and an innovator of hospital design and the atrium office building concept.
