Brief Biographical Note

David Brauer (1943-2020) was an art historian and curator who lectured on Art History at the University of Houston, Rice University, and the Women's Insitute of Houston, and was head of the History of Art Department at the Glassell School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. He was also the curator of numerous exhibitions, including "Pop Art: U.S./U.K. Connections: 1956-1966" for the Menil Collection in 2001.
